For UMI staking, you just need to top up your staking address in your wallet. To do this, open the app or wallet on the website and copy the address. After that, send coins to this address from a trading address, exchange or UMI ecosystem products.

Once you top up your staking address, the coins will automatically start multiplying according to the rules of the smart staking contract. The reward is accrued every second - the balance is just automatically updated and you have more coins.

Please note, it is possible to withdraw UMI from staking with some restrictions.

• On a monthly basis, you can withdraw 1/10th of the total amount of coins in the staking including the accrued reward. The mechanism does not allow to withdraw the whole amount from the staking at one moment, thus increasing the value of the whole UMI coin and protecting from speculation on the market. At the same time, staking allows each user to receive stable rewards in the long term and use the coins for any purpose.

• Withdrawal and input of coins into staking can be done at any time, even every second.

• The amount available for withdrawal is updated not once a month, but in real time.

That is, you can withdraw coins even once a minute, but not more than 10% of the total balance per month.
